Body insecurities as a child + early 2000's Diet Fads. I was awkward, chubby, and made fun of often. So I tried the 1,000 calorie/ day diets, restricting carbs, and other ridiculous dieting methods.

Restricting and putting my body last. I spent 2 years as a strict vegan for moral reasons. It was a tough choice to quit, but I had to learn to be intuitive and put my body first when my digestive issues and disordered eating started.

Over 10 years of digestive issues. This led to bloat, food sensitivities, body image insecurities, starving myself, binging, and emotional eating.

Stress eating for most of my early 20s. Because I overworked myself and forgot about self-care.
