What is Intuitive Eating?

Intuitive Eating is a process of honoring your hunger, fullness, and satisfaction with food in order to ditch the diet, get off this rollercoaster of body critique, and start listening to what your body truly needs!

There is a method I use to approach intuitive eating best practices:

I teach you how to stop binge eating, how to stop emotional eating, and how to start to listen to signals from your body!

This is done through mindful eating exercises, eliminating guilty cravings by deeming foods as neutral, exploring meditation, journaling and guided reflection sessions, and using many of the Intuitive Eating Principles according to Elyse Resch and Evelyn Tribole who wrote the first book on Intuitive Eating.

I spent my childhood suffering from body insecurities and diet fads. I restricted carbs, I limited my calories, I held my body to higher standard than it could attain.⁣

This led to binging and emotional eating. It led to digestive issues. It led to stress on my internal organs, stress on my mind, and overwhelming frustration with myself.

 

I was never going to live up to my expectations for myself.⁣

I was never going to be successful because diets simply don’t work.

 

Starving and restricting your body is not the solution. Neither is free binging. ⁣Or ending the day stressed out with a tub of Ben & Jerries in hand.⁣

I learned how to gain back my connection to myself and change my mindset around food and through intuitive eating.

 

I became a holistic nutritionist⁣, I intensely, I studied the body and mind through 500 hours of yoga teacher training, and I successfully tried and tested my techniques on over 40+ women struggling with their food and body relationships.

 

Then, I created the Intuitive Eating Method.
